This Licence Agreement ("Agreement") is between you and Vlad TUDOR, trading as V LAB (entrepreneur individuel (EI), micro-entreprise · SIRET 988 992 160 00016), 119 avenue Gabriel Péri, 92260 Fontenay-aux-Roses, France ("V LAB", "we", "us"). It forms part of the Terms of Sale and Use. By installing or using V LAB Studio, you accept it. If you buy for a company, you accept it on the company's behalf.
1. Definitions
- "Software": the V LAB Studio plugin for Claude Desktop, including its engine, its studio window, its Templates, its Kit, its Library, its documentation, every update we provide and any Club Packs you receive.
- "Templates": the video designs and their code included in the Software or delivered as updates or Club Packs.
- "Kit": the 3D kit, scene components, effects and their source code that the Software uses to build videos.
- "Library": the music, sound effects, fonts, 3D models, materials and other assets included in the Software or in Club Packs.
- "Club Packs": the templates, sounds and 3D effect packs delivered through the V LAB Club.
- "Outputs": the videos, images and sound files you make with the Software.
- "Edition": the edition you bought (Creator, Studio or Agency), as described on the product page at the time of your order.
- "Mac": an Apple Mac computer that you own or control, on which the Software is activated.
- "Delivery": October 16, 2026 for every edition (Paris time), or the new date if we move it as described in the Terms. Agency's extra tools (Brand Engine, Batch, Content Calendar, client brand kits) arrive as an update by October 23, 2026.
2. Licence grant
Once you have paid for your Edition, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, worldwide licence, which does not expire, to install and use the Software on up to 1 Mac (Creator), 3 Macs (Studio) or 5 Macs (Agency), with the features of your Edition, and to make Outputs with it, for your personal use and for your own business. The Software uses activations to count your Macs: each Mac you activate uses one, and freeing a Mac (section 8) gives its activation back. You may make backup copies of the installer for your own use.
3. Commercial use
- Every Edition: you may use Outputs for personal projects and for your own business, products and channels, including paid ads, your store and every social platform.
- Agency: you may also make Outputs for paying clients, build client brand kits, and hand those Outputs over to your clients. Your clients may use the Outputs you deliver. This does not give clients access to the Software itself: they need their own licence to run it.
- On Creator and Studio, making Outputs for someone else in exchange for payment is not included.
4. Outputs and your content
As between you and us, you own the Outputs and everything you bring in (text, logos, images, footage, music, voices). We claim no rights over them. The Templates, the Kit and the Library remain ours or our licensors'. You may use them inside your Outputs, including commercially, within the limits of your Edition.
The Library's music and sound effects are made by us or released under licences such as CC0. You may use them in your Outputs, commercially within your Edition. You may not extract them from the Software and use, sell or share them as standalone files, or as part of another library, template pack or product. Music you add yourself is yours to license.
You are responsible for having the rights to everything you bring in, and for how you use your Outputs.
5. V LAB Club
The V LAB Club is an optional monthly subscription that needs an Edition. While you're subscribed, you receive the Club Packs released each month. Club Packs you received while subscribed stay unlocked after you cancel, under this Agreement and the limits of your Edition. Club Packs never unlock a higher Edition's Templates, Library or features. Club Packs from a payment that is refunded or charged back are not kept. Prices, renewal and cancellation are in section 9 of the Terms.
6. Restrictions
Except where this Agreement or the law expressly allows it, you may not:
- share your licence key, or let anyone use the Software beyond your Edition's Mac limit;
- sell, rent, lend, sublicense, publish or redistribute the Software, its installer, its Templates, its Kit, its Library or Club Packs, or offer them as a template pack, a service or part of another product;
- remove or get around activation, licence checks or notices;
- decompile, disassemble or reverse-engineer the Software, except to the extent the law allows it despite this restriction (for example, for interoperability under EU law);
- use the Templates, the source code of the Kit, the Library or the project files the Software generates from them to train, fine-tune or build datasets for AI or machine-learning models. Letting Claude read and use them while it makes your videos is normal use, and is allowed;
- use the Software in breach of the Acceptable use section of the Terms.
7. Updates
Fixes and compatibility updates for your Edition are included for 12 months from Delivery (or from your order date, if you buy after Delivery). After that, your licence keeps working with the version you have. If we ever offer further updates for a fee, buying them is optional and never automatic. New templates, sounds and 3D packs come with the Club.
V LAB Studio runs inside Claude Desktop, so its long-term compatibility depends on Claude Desktop's extension support, which we don't control. We can't guarantee that every future change to Claude Desktop can be worked around.
8. Activations and licence checks
- Activation. The first time you use the Software on a Mac, it activates your licence key with Lemon Squeezy's License API. This needs an internet connection once.
- Checks. After that, the Software checks your key with Lemon Squeezy at most once a day. If it can't reach Lemon Squeezy, it keeps working for up to 14 days after the last successful check, then asks you to connect to the internet once.
- Moving to another Mac. On the Mac you no longer use, ask Claude to deactivate your V LAB Studio licence: that frees its activation for another Mac. If that Mac is lost, broken or wiped, email [email protected] from your order email and we'll free it.
- Refunds and chargebacks. When an order is refunded or charged back, its key is disabled, and the Software stops working at its next check.
- If the checks ever stop. If we ever stop the licence checks, or Lemon Squeezy's licence service ends, we'll first ship a free update that removes the online check, so the version you own keeps working.
What is sent during these checks is described in the Privacy policy: your licence key and a random name for that activation, never your Mac's name.
9. Third-party components and services
- Remotion. The Software is built on the Remotion video engine, which has its own licence. Remotion is free for individuals and for companies of up to 3 people. Companies with 4 or more employees need their own Remotion company licence (remotion.dev/license).
- Open-source components and assets, such as three.js, React and whisper.cpp, fonts under the SIL Open Font License and assets released under CC0 or MIT, are used under their own licences. Those licences take precedence for those components.
- Claude Desktop and Claude are provided by Anthropic under your agreement with Anthropic. We aren't responsible for them.
10. Ownership
The Software is licensed, not sold. We, and our licensors, keep all rights in it that this Agreement doesn't expressly grant you.
11. End of the licence
The licence ends if your order is refunded or charged back. It also ends if you seriously breach this Agreement, for example by sharing or reselling the Software, and don't fix the breach within 14 days of our email asking you to. When the licence ends, you must stop using the Software and uninstall it. Outputs you made while your licence was valid remain yours, except Outputs made in breach of this Agreement.
12. Warranty, liability and law
Warranty and liability are governed by section 16 of the Terms, and nothing in this Agreement limits your statutory rights. This Agreement is governed by French law, with the consumer protections described in section 18 of the Terms.
